Meet Our



Shaykh Muhammad Yaseen is the co-founder of the ISNAD Institute, where he is the Education Lead.

Shaykh Yaseen developed an interest in acquiring the traditional Islamic Sciences. This enthusiasm led him to Syria in 2001, where he studied Arabic at the University of Damascus.

Upon returning to England, Shaykh Yaseen enrolled onto the esteemed Dars al-Nizami taught by Shaykh Rasul Baksh Sa’idi and Mufti Yar Muhammad Khan

Shaykh Muhammad Yaseen is currently leading the children and adult education initiative at the ISNAD Institute. He also leads a weekly dhikr gathering at the Ward-End Zawiyah.


Shaykh Mufti Wajid Iqbal is the founder of Essential Islam and descends from a noble family of scholars; his mother’s uncle was the honourable Shaykh Mufti Abdul Hakim, the Grand Mufti of Kashmir.

Under the traditional tutelage of Shaykh Mufti Faazal al-Bandyalvi and Shaykh Mufti Aslam al-Bandyalvi, Shaykh Mufti Wajid has completed all aspects of the highly revered ‘Dars-i-Nizami’ curriculum; culminating in being authorised in iftah/fatwa at the age of 27.

Shaykh Mufti Wajid is the Imam at the Jamiyat Tabligh-ul-Islam Victor Street Masjid; where he holds regular classes of Sacred Knowledge. He also leads a weekly dhikr gathering at Zawiyah al-Shifa.


Shaykh Waseem Ahmed, originally from Sheffield, is the co-founder of both ISNAD Institute and Guidance Hub.

After spending six intensive years in Syria, where he sat at the feet of some of the foremost scholars of Damascus, Shaykh Waseem returned to the UK in 2012 and immediately began disseminating the sacred knowledge which he had acquired.

A graduate of the prestigious Dawli Institute for Arabic and Islamic Sciences, Shaykh Waseem Ahmed is a distinguished scholar, whose affable and charismatic approach has benefited scores of people from all walks of life.


Shaykha Noshin Gul, originally from Birmingham, is the founder of the Sacred Vows Introduction Service, as well as the co-founder of both ISNAD Institute.

After completing postgraduate studies in 2005, she travelled to Syria in the pursuit of authentic traditional sacred knowledge.

Spending two years in Damascus, Shaykha Noshin studied Arabic, Theology, Hadith, Legal Theory, and specialised in Tajweed, where she was granted ijaza in teaching by late Shaykh Abul Hasan Al-Kurdi, as well as Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi.

Shaykha Noshin currently lectures at the ISNAD Institute, whilst leading the education initiative at the Guidance Hub.

With over 2 million pilgrims expected for Hajj 2019, our facilitation and administration teams have been carefully assembled in order to proactively minimise and manage any potential issues that may arise.

Our Hajj Facilitators will play a key role during your Hajj - offering total guidance and support during each stage of the Hajj 2019 experience. Our combined expertise will ensure that we help revive many long lost secrets, and provide an invaluable insight into the wisdom of Hajj.

Our field scouts, who reside in Saudi Arabia and have lived in Makkah and Madinah, will precede the facilitation team during each stage of the Hajj 2019 experience, thus ensuring a smooth transition as we move from place to place during Hajj 2019.

We will also have senior doctors travelling with us, who will be tasked with overlooking your physical well-being. They will be on-hand for any consultancy, and during any minor and major emergencies.

Together, we aim to insha'Allah help prepare the pilgrim for the 'Journey of a Lifetime'.
